The Whispers of Fall Wrap is a masterpiece of Kashmiri craftsmanship. It is hand embroidered in warm Fall colours in the Ari style of work (chainstitch) and that too in its highest caliber of craftsmanship known as Tola work, which essentially means that the artisans get paid by weight.
In Tola work, artisans are paid by the weight of the thread used, allowing them to create lavish and richly detailed designs. The result is a opulent and refined masterpiece. While most of our embroidery is done by farmer-artisans seeking supplementary income, Tola artisans are dedicated full-time to their craft.
The rich harmony of colours and patterns reflects the beauty of the artisan's heart in this unique scarf. Even the tassels have been beautifully handmade in lattice formation.
