Oudh Kanz is an attar inspired by ancient caravans and the storied trade routes that once conveyed precious woods and spices across the known world.
Aged Cambodian Oudh and Ruh Khus form the basis for this treasu. It opens with the unmistakable presence of Khus—cool, earthy, and gently mint-toned—evoking rich damp soil and moss-covered roots.
As the attar unfolds, an ancient woodland heart emerges: smoky, mineral, and forest-like. Aged Cambodian Oudh introduces balsamic warmth and gentle spice, complemented by Nagaland Oudh (circa 2000) and Oudh Hindi Qadeem Khas (2022), which add quiet depth and lineage. Nuances of aged leather, hay, and fleeting barnyard facets appear briefly, balanced by a cooling mentholic overhang that lends clarity and lift.
Floral notes of Damask Rose, Tuberose, Arabian Jasmine and Sandalwood weave delicately through the composition adding airiness, spice, subtle citrus brightness, and a powdery musk-like elegance. Trace amounts of natural Ambergris and authentic Deer Musk introduce an animalic warmth, enhancing complexity without dominance. Accents of Saffron, Cardamom, and Cedarwood provide warmth and spice, echoing the spirit of the old spice routes.
The base settles into a deep, airy woodiness mixing softly with mossy, root-rich undertones. The oudh heart remains dry, leathery, and ancient.
